Book sprints

No quicker way to write a book

8th May 2009

I've just got back from 'book sprinting' in the USA. What is book sprinting, I hear you ask? In essence, you lock a group of people in a room for a week and don't let them out until they have written a book. OK, there is a bit more to it than that. What's suprising is how effective this is at creating written material. Get the right people together with the right motivation and it is amazing what you can acheive.

Thanks to Dave and Lobo from the CiviCRM core team for inviting me over for this, and to Adam Hyde for facilitating - it was a fantastic experience.
