Third Sector Design is proud to be involved in organising CiviCamp Birmingham 2026, a practical one-day conference for everyone that uses CiviCRM, taking place on 9 June in Birmingham UK.

At Third Sector Design we recognise that the real value of CiviCRM comes from the people who use it every day, not just the software itself. And that behind every CiviCRM implementation is a community sharing knowledge, ideas, and experience.
That’s why this isn’t a typical conference. CiviCamp Birmingham, affectionately known as CiviBRM is a community-driven event, shaped by the people who actually use CiviCRM in their day-to-day work. Whether that’s managing memberships, running fundraising campaigns, or building custom integrations.
One of the things we are driven to keep front and center at CiviBRM is real-world experience.
The sessions aren’t sales pitches or polished product demos. They’re practical, honest, and grounded in reality. What worked. What didn’t. What people learned along the way.
You’ll hear directly from users, implementors, and organisations who are solving real problems with CiviCRM every day.
Whether you are just getting started or have years of experience, there’s something to take away – and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and dig deep on what matters most to you and your organisation.
CiviCRM has always been about more than just a tool – it’s a community.
Events like CiviCamp Birmingham create space for:
- Sharing knowledge openly
- Learning from others’ experiences
- Making connections that last beyond the event
Some of the most valuable moments don’t happen on stage – they happen in conversations between sessions, over coffee, or when someone says, “we had that exact problem too.”
Making space for “lightbulb moments” is why we get involved. We believe strongly in supporting the communities we’re part of.

Get involved
If you’re working with CiviCRM, we’d love to see you there.
We’re actively shaping the programme and that means there’s still time to get involved. If you have delivered an interesting project; discovered a useful report or workflow; solved a tricky problem and maybe even learned something the hard way… then you’ve got something worth sharing.
Sessions don’t need to be polished or “perfect”, some of the most useful talks are the honest ones.
If you’ve never been to a community event like this before, CiviBRM is a great place to start. It’s friendly, practical, and built around the idea that everyone has something valuable to share.
