St Ethelburga's are a great organisation to have on our client list - they are passionate and interesting people working for an organisation with a great mission.
The first time we went to St. Ethelburga's office and they showed us their current systems and their 'ideal world' requirements, we were excited about what a close match CiviCRM was to their use cases, and how much we could help them by implementing CiviCRM. We started off by implementing an integrated online event registration system for them which replaced their previous systems (a website that need manual updating, multiple Excel spreadsheets and a number of different online ticket providers).
We then redesigned and launched their website and moved their mailing lists from a seperate system to CivICRM St Ethelburga's were key driver's of the Giftaid module in CiviCRM, providing part funding for the project. They've also sponsored a payment processor for Barclay's for CivICRM.
We like St. Ethelburga's because they really 'get' open source and what it can do for their organisation. We continue to work with them, developing new functionality and helping them improve and manage content on their website.
